How The Biggest Challenges In Life Shape us Into Better Parents | Tamsyn & Luis.

You never know where life will lead you, but you end up exactly where you are meant to be.

Tamsyn & Luis are a prime example of this. After years & years of ‘unexplained infertility’ with her husband at the time, they made the choice to go down the path of adoption. If you have ever been in the assisted fertility world you may have even entertained this thought yourself & fallen down the rabbit hole of red tape & excruciating (for both parents and child) wait times. That is just the tip of the ice-berg. You also have to come to terms with your child’s own history & possible struggles too before they are in your life. Even against further waiting and waiting to be a mum Tamsyn knew that her little love would be in her arms one day & she was right - along came Luis.

Fast forward a couple of years, some heartbreak, challenges & many changes to their lives & you have this beautiful, strong & loving bond between mumma & son. We celebrated their life as it currently looks in this season, exploring the world through Luis’ fresh, questioning eyes, right next to his biggest cheerleader. We chose Hastings Point as our Beach Session location & it was the perfect location.

It’s hard to remember to be in the photos with your little loves, and even harder if there isn’t someone there to take the photo for you. Selfies are great for those spontaneous moments but I guarantee you you will never regret having images together where you are lost in life’s wonders.
